PLANET ASGIRI Exhibition – Tito’s Cafe @ The Courtyard by Marriott Colombo
From 15 June 2024 onwards, a collection of several exquisite artworks by Asgiri Seneviratne was placed on display at Tito’s Cafe, in collaboration with The Courtyard at Marriott Colombo.
The variety of painting techniques and subjects featured display the breadth of talent and creativity Asgiri possesses, and elevate the guest experience and serenity of the visual space.
The collection is visited daily by guests and art enthusiasts alike. The exhibition also conducts interactive sessions for guests, including paint-with-me “Canvas and Coffee” sessions for beginners to try their hand at creating their own artworks led by Asgiri’s expert guidance.
Therapeutic Art Sessions at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka’s Geriatric Care Unit
Under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Sithira Seneviratne, patients from the Geriatric Care Unit were assessed and recommended to attend therapeutic art sessions organized by Asgiri Seneviratne as an important component of their medical treatment.
Asgiri facilitates and guides the patients in creating their own works of art, helping them achieve a sense of fulfillment and development. She would also assist the medical staff by observing and reporting on the patients’ progress.
